Installation procedure for Creative Screen Singer v1.1

Run INSTALL.EXE from this directory.

Note: ** Screen Singer CD-Title ** must be present in your CD-ROM
      drive before you proceed to execute INSTALL.EXE


Updated Installation program for Creative Screen Singer

This new installation program now supports the following sound cards
& CDROM drives:

a. Sound Blaster Pro

b. Sound Blaster Pro 2

c. Sound Blaster 16/Sound Blaster 16 Advanced Signal Processing

d. Creative CR 52X.

e. Creative CR 563B.


Problems fixed
==============

The new installation program also solves the following problems:

1. Supports MSCDEX.EXE version 2.21 and above and will give warning
   if version 2.20 is detected, but will still continues installation.

2. Copy files screen saver files to Windows 3.1 directory.

3. Solves "The sound card is not installed properly or support by ...."
   error even though the sound card is set correctly.


Notes on installing under Windows 3.1 DOS session
=================================================

On some machine configurations, you may not able to run the installation
program in DOS session of Windows 3.1.  You will get "The sound card is
not installed properly or supported by ....." error message.

You should install from the native DOS environment instead of DOS session
in Windows 3.1 if such a phenomenon occurs.
